Join Animals to plans.

Animals can quickly and simply be added to one or multiple Health Care Plans that you have setup in the system. Using our existing well established navigation system a clients animal can be quickly found. After selecting the animal clicking on the Join HCP button will show a list of plans available for that species.

Plans show the date range in which the can be applied to an animal and the monthly cost to the customer. Selecting a plan will also show the total plan cost. Simply clicking Join will add the animal to the selected plan.

Animals that are associated with plans are highlighted within the reception screen patient list aiding prompt identification.


Treating with a plan

Within the patient treatment screen all the items for the selected plan are displayed including their issuing status, these can simply be chosen by the vet to treat the animal with.


Health Care Plan Module

This module introduces healthcare plans for patients. Clients will make monthly direct debit payments towards these plans, which are processed automatically. This results in better healthcare for your patients and increased turnover for the practice.



What is a Health Care Plan?

A plan runs for a year period and can be created for a specific species, It consists of a collection of possibly discounted treatments or services including composite items which can be sold as a package. A Plan can be set up so that it can only be joined between a certain period.

Items within a plan can be set to be issued at a particular time controlling the administration over the year period.


Direct Debit's

Direct Debit's are the perfect partner for Healthcare plans. It allows your clients to spread the payment of thier animals treatments, while at the same time creating a consistent and reliable income stream for the practice.

The Direct Debit's are handled by a payment provider that is managed by our automatic update system.

The first payment taken from the customer upon joining the plan is made via normal payment methods at the practice. The following 11 payments on the plan are arranged via the monthly direct debit.


Reports

To help practice administrators manage the plans reports have been created to display key information.

Display all animals attached to plans. List the suspensions that have been reported by the payment handler.


Accounting

As the issuing of items on healthcare plans are pre/post paid the accounting of healthcare plans are kept separate to the main customer accounts for clarity.

The accounting side of the Healthcare plan module provides facilities such as debtors, daily cash and daily sales. Credits, refunds, statements and write offs are all possible.
